Hospital Bag Checklist

Hello lovelies!  If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen that this week I went shopping in order to start packing my hospital bag! As I mentioned in my last blogpost I am planning a home birth but I still have to pack a hospital bag just incase and it's handy to know I have everything I'll need in the one place anyway regardless of where I am. I will admit I found this slightly difficult to do because I saw tonnes of different checklists on what to pack and they all seemed to be different in some way or another so I kind of custom made my own by pulling things from several different checklists and listening to advice from other mamas. So I'm going to pop the checklist that I followed below and then underneath that I'll show you all what I have packed so far with some details about some of the more interesting items! Also I have seen that a lot of the lists recommend two bags - one for labour and one for after labour. I didn't get two bags, pur

My Second Trimester of Pregnancy!

Hello Lovelies! I hope you are all well! I know I have been a little quiet for the past few weeks, you'll probably understand why after reading this! I have just started my 28th week of pregnancy which means I am officially in my third trimester now so I thought it was the perfect time to let you all know how I got on in my second trimester. I have recently had a surge of pregnant mamas contact me on my instagram page and I think it's so important for us all to share our pregnancy experiences because even though to a certain degree we are all in the same boat, every womans pregnancy is different. I think when I started to understand that I didn't focus too much on what I thought should or shouldn't be happening to me and just focused on enjoying this experience.  (20 Weeks Pregnant) The second trimester of pregnancy lasts from the beginning of week 13 to the end of week 27 and is known to be the best trimester of pregnancy because by this stage your sickness

Fairy Princess Product List

Hello Lovelies!  Seen as this look is a little different than what I usually do I decided I would do my product list a little differently also. Usually I just upload a quick product list to Instagram but for this one I wanted to show you what all of the products I used look like and exactly what I used them for so below I have attached pictures of everything with description below them. You'll see most of them are fairly battered but as I always say, that's only a sign of love! So here we go... Eyes Inglot Freedom Palette - So this is my freedom palette which I'm in the process of filling up. I used the second purple shade from the top in the furthest left row. I don't know what shade it is unfortunately as the pans are super hard to remove from the palette without a little magnet which I don't have yet so apologies. I love this palette though, it's my baby!  Blank Canvas Contour/Blush Set - This is the palette from the second pictu

Our First Baby Clothes Haul

Hello lovelies!  I'm back again! I have been promising for some time now that I would come on here and show you all the baby clothes we've picked up so far because I know some other expectant mamas are dying to see them. After we had our anomaly scan and found out we're expecting a baby girl we went on a shopping spree in limerick and it's safe to say that by the time our little miss is born she'll have more clothes than me! We didn't go to too many places on the day because the few places we did go we picked up nearly everything in sight so it was safer to call it a day before we left the Cresent Shopping Centre. If I went anywhere else I would honestly be broke!  Most of what we bought came from Mothercare and Penneys, they both had a gorgeous selection of things and there was a sale on in Mothercare also so the baskets filled up quickly! We decided to buy most of the clothes in a newborn size but we also bought some pieces to fit up to 1 month and u
