Glenbeigh... 

So last week I decided to treat myself to a few days away as I had a few days off college.. After the stressful and busy year I've had with college had really began to take it's toll I decided it was time for a relaxing holiday instead of the usual action packed city breaks. Glenbeigh is definitely a place that I hold dear to my heart so maybe I'm a bit biased but in my opinion it is the most beautiful place I've seen so far.. 

It's a small town in County Kerry right on the coast.. It has the most beautiful beach, mountain trails and you can even go for a leisurely horse ride on the beach.. To be fair there isn't a lot there in terms of shops but this place is my little piece of heaven.. From the colourful flower filled hedges to the fresh salty aroma of the sea this town is full of little delights. And of course like any small Irish town it is packed full of traditional Irish pubs with music to get you hopping! 

As far as accommodation goes there's plenty of choices to suit your budget.. You can stay in anything from a hostel to boutique hotels.. I could write forever about how beautiful it is but I think I'll let the pictures speak for themselves..

Hello lovelies! This week I'm going to do the long awaited review of the Sosu Lashes I picked up and her new limited edition lash case. I've been trying out these lashes for months now and if you follow me on Instagram i'm sure you'll know they've made a few appearances there. I was a little late to catch on to the Sosueme trend, I actually didn't even try out her lashes until she released her 'Primark Exclusive' range and even then I only bought one pair in case I didn't like them.  I've never been much of a false lash person for the simple fact that I could not apply them, I literally could NOT do it. I either ended up with the lash stuck pretty much everywhere it shouldn't have been or couldn't get them to stick at all. The only false lashes I could apply myself were the Primark individual lashes so when I bought a pair of her 'Belle' lashes from Primark I wasn't very hopeful but I still wanted to see what all the hype...

Self Love...

In light of it being World Mental Health Awareness Day (October 10th) I wanted touch on one subject in particular that I have been trying to teach myself in recent months: SELF LOVE! In the past few years I have personally struggled with depression and anxiety and in order to help myself cope I use various coping mechanisms that I have picked up during the years. Over time I worked out what made me feel better and what triggered my anxiety so I was more capable of handling a problem should it arise but I wasn’t always able to do this on my own. I picked up several coping mechanisms through mindfulness groups and counselling, if those services weren’t available to me it would have been a lot harder for me to understand what exactly was happening within myself. One thing that you will always hear about in relation to mental health awareness will be self love. If you read my Skincare 101 blog a couple of months ago you will know that I talked about cosmeceutical products, more specifically the differences between them and normal cosmetics.
