Resultime Smoothing Resurfacing Mask Ceramides - Product Review

Happy Saturday Everyone!! Just thought I'd do a quick product review today.. A couple of weeks ago I posted about my current beauty regime which consists of mostly resultime products so I thought I'd do a review of another one of their products I have added to my regime.

As a company Resultime have a very scientific approach with their products which include ingredients such a mirco-collagen and micro-elastin. The new product I've been using is their Smoothing Resurfacing Mask Ceramides. Its a very nourishing mask so its perfect for anyone who suffers with dry skin and it's also an anti-aging product which is always a plus! I was so surprised to learn in college that anyone over the age of 25 should actually be using anti-aging products.

The mask can be applied once or twice a week. You apply a thin layer to your face, leave it on for 15 minutes and then remove it. I applied it using a mask brush, as i have both dry and oily areas on my face when I applied the mask I put a thinner layer on oily areas and paid extra attention to dry bits. I also used my Quartz and Vitamin C Micodermabrasion Scrub beforehand to make sure my skin was clean and exfoliated before I applied the mask. When I removed it I just used some Facial Sponges I picked up in Penneys for 1.50.

My Opinion?

AMAZING! I genuinely loved it, I now use it every week with my weekly exfoliation. It did everything I wanted it to do. It didn't make my oily areas break out (once I applied the correct amount), it helped nourish and soften my dry patches and my skin was just glowing afterwards.  In the picture above I'm wearing the mask, as you can see its barely visible which I like aswell. It's something you can throw on in the middle of the day and you don't have to run in shame if the doorbell rings. I got mine for 28.40 so it's pretty good value aswell as you don't use much for each application. Just a great product all round!

As usual if you want anymore information or have any questions feel free to ask!

Sosu Lashes and Limited Edition Lash Case

Hello lovelies! This week I'm going to do the long awaited review of the Sosu Lashes I picked up and her new limited edition lash case. I've been trying out these lashes for months now and if you follow me on Instagram i'm sure you'll know they've made a few appearances there. I was a little late to catch on to the Sosueme trend, I actually didn't even try out her lashes until she released her 'Primark Exclusive' range and even then I only bought one pair in case I didn't like them.  I've never been much of a false lash person for the simple fact that I could not apply them, I literally could NOT do it. I either ended up with the lash stuck pretty much everywhere it shouldn't have been or couldn't get them to stick at all. The only false lashes I could apply myself were the Primark individual lashes so when I bought a pair of her 'Belle' lashes from Primark I wasn't very hopeful but I still wanted to see what all the hype...

Self Love...

In light of it being World Mental Health Awareness Day (October 10th) I wanted touch on one subject in particular that I have been trying to teach myself in recent months: SELF LOVE! In the past few years I have personally struggled with depression and anxiety and in order to help myself cope I use various coping mechanisms that I have picked up during the years. Over time I worked out what made me feel better and what triggered my anxiety so I was more capable of handling a problem should it arise but I wasn’t always able to do this on my own. I picked up several coping mechanisms through mindfulness groups and counselling, if those services weren’t available to me it would have been a lot harder for me to understand what exactly was happening within myself. One thing that you will always hear about in relation to mental health awareness will be self love. Self love is a very important part of the process in making yourself feel better or more able to cope. This was a concept...

Skincare - The Acids

Hello Lovelies! This week my blogpost is going to be based around skincare. If you read my Skincare 101 blog a couple of months ago you will know that I talked about cosmeceutical products, more specifically the differences between them and normal cosmetics. Cosmeceuticals are basically a mix of cosmetic and pharmaceutical products. They often contain ‘active’ ingredients which can penetrate into the deep layers of the skin therefore they are more beneficial to your skin than normal cosmetics you may find in a pharmacy or supermarket. Among the long list of ‘active’ ingredients you may find in cosmeceuticals, the word acid may come up quite frequently. Cosmeceuticals can contain one or more acid at a time such as glycolic acid, lactic acid or azelaic acid and so on. These are all ‘active’ ingredients as they penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin and they all have different uses and benefits for different skin types. Products from brands such as Image Skincare, Nip and F...
